You need to get the little bus has small red sign on the top (cash only it was 12 TL each) and goes to the marina (viaport mall) you can get off at the marmaray station if you want train into the city. It is very frequent and the bus stop is at the entrance to the complex. Migros jet is there too, but closes at 9pm. Local people were very helpful, just ask if you need to know where things are. We used Google translate a lot. We had dreadful weather for the last 2 days but went to Viaport by bus as there was shopping and loads of restaurants for us. If using the marmaray consider getting an Istanbul Kart for train, metro, tram etc, makes travelling easy. The city was about 1 hour away by train once you got to the Marmaray station. The local people are incredibly well behaved on public transport, very polite and we usually had a seat ( it’s busy and we are old!) we are not used to such behaviour, no one found it necessary to have loud conversations on their phone, eat drink and generally make a nuisance of themselves as is normal in the UK.

I only stopped for a few hours before catching a connecting flight, woukd like to come again and explore the area. There were lots of food places but nothing for a vegetarian mostky just meat, so I had to survive on just salad. Taxi is quite expensive, if you are staying longer might be better to hire a car, but driving in the European side of Istanbul is nearly impossible due to tight streets, tram line and unusuall lay out of roads.

Lovely beachside village, easy walks along the foreshore.
Lovely beachside village, easy walks along the foreshore. World class aquarium, but needed to insist on buying a ticket just for the aquarium as we did not want to see the animals. As a foreigner they only wanted to sell us a package ticket. Definitely frustrating. Fortunately not peak season, so was finally able to get a ticket to the aquarium only. Also a lovely park to walk around and many locals had a picnic on the weekend.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Petra Hotel Tuzla, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel's location was also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping.
The hotel is located in 20 mins drive from Sabiha airport that makes it very comfortable for the short stay. The room is cosy with all you need including toothbrush and slippers. A lot of places to eat nearby, all are very turkish with fresh fish and sweets and perfect black tea. The stuff in the hotel is english-speaking while in the restaurants you will hardly find anyone or even menu in english.
The accommodation and meal conditions (breakfast) were good, and communication with the people at the reception was also good.
The location of the hotel allowed us to be close to the waterfront and the restaurant area and Viaport Marina, but also to have the peace necessary to sleep well.
The location has its own parking, which was an advantage for us.

Comfortable and cosy flat. Clean and tidy. New building. Not so many unwanted neighbours around. Have car parking available right out. In the center of cute town Tuzla. Good for business stay as well. I liked the 600 channels TV. Also fast internet. Hot water at demand. AC working very well. Owners are very caring. I satisfied very much.
The room was spacious and clean, the additional Sauna was a big +, the hotel is big and full of facilities including swimming pools, Its close to the airport and big outlet malls. The breakfast was good and the staff at the breakfast very responsive and helpful.
The hotel is great for one or two nights stay. It is very well kept and managed with great breakfast. The staff were great and very helpful. The room was small but it its considered Big for a hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is used by airline crew mostly.
There was a good variety of traditional food available for both breakfast and dinner. The ambiance of the hotel itself was faultless but front of house staff was the only let down unfortunately.
Very modern and great value for money, hotel is relatively new, the apartment was really big. Great views. Breakfast was good and also great value for money.
The hotel is in a back alley, a bit hidden from the busy street, so it helps with the noise from the street. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.
